To create a beautiful visual showcase of a product, I created Mockups Aside, a pro-level mockup generator that covers dozens of pre-made frames that fit any visual. Drag and drop screenshots or videos, customize, and get a perfect presentation or marketing materials. It’s currently available on the Glaze App Store for macOS only.

Most Recently Used (MRU) Tab Switcher

A simple most-recently-used tab switching extension for Google Chrome. Hold ⌃ Control and ⇥ Tab to cycle through recent tabs in a translucent overlay showing live page thumbnails. Release ⌃ Control to jump to the highlighted tab. The idea was to create a tab switcher inspired by the OS window switcher we all love and use every day. Available now in the Chromium browser of your choice.

Ten years of designing products, from wall-mounted smart building panels to payments for a creator platform.

Product Designer @ Lyvely Remote · Creator economy 2024 – 2026
- Brought in for monetization flows and grew into owning product design for the whole platform across web, iOS and Android, working with a remote team of 20.
- Designed the entire user flow around 1:1 mentoring sessions with experts.
- Rebuilt video calling and streaming flows end to end, with additional features like recordings and AI summaries.
- Designed dual-rail payments around location: card checkout in the UAE, phone number and OTP via M-Pesa in Kenya, with multi-currency handling and special attention to empty states.
- Supported the feature rollout and the Kenya launch. The platform was later approved for integration into the M-Pesa super app, opening it to tens of millions of users.
- Redesigned locked content so potential buyers know what they are paying for before unlocking, increasing purchases on the platform.
- Designed the retention layer: a points economy, weekly, monthly and yearly leaderboards, games and a spotlight carousel, with capped engagement points to reward real activity over farming.
- Owned the Creator Dashboard, with flows for payments and earning payouts.
- Upgraded the design system and designed investor pitch decks and product demo videos.

About

My name is Luka Krčmar. I’m a product designer from Croatia 🇭🇷, and I’ve been designing and building software for ten years, ever since my college days.

I’ve designed desktop, web and mobile products for companies in crypto, creator economy, smart buildings, gaming sectors, and more. Most recently I owned product design for Lyvely, a creator monetization platform, across web, iOS and Android.

I started out designing control apps for smart buildings at HDL Automation, then after getting my bachelor's degree I co-founded Livmark, a design and marketing agency. Running an agency taught me how businesses actually operate.

For the last five years I’ve worked remotely, owning products end to end alongside founders and engineers. AI is part of my everyday workflow.

What I love most is working with teams who genuinely care about their craft. When I’m not designing, I’m building stuff, hiking, or taking photos.
